Picnic, Recital, and Graduation

Three major events this weekend. My only regular blog reader was at all three and my recurring readers were all at at least one or two, and yet I'm going to post about them all for the few who wern't there or who wanted my perspective on the events.

Crown Picnic: Overall fun. I started out my day hiding behind a bush waiting for people i knew coming in. I had Chris standing on the opposite side of the path i was hiding on, then when a person came by, he struck up conversation while i snuck up and scared em. Kiri flinched. Ian flinched too, but Kiri flinched worse.
Then eatin time. Evie arraved, meaning the gang was all here. Cept Josh. He not come to these things often. Had my usual conversations with Ian. Mild threats, injuries, and staredowns included. Then Mitch and Chris disappeared. Ian went looking for them, i went looking with him. He waited for me to turn my back, and ran away. Oh well, i wasnt interested in the conversation much anyway. Walked away, only to bump into their royal orginaztion and caffination themselves -- Chris and Mitch! We ran and hid, but then mitch got thirsty and needed water. So we started our hunt for Kiri, who knew where the water was.
I had seen the girls go down one path earlier, so we followed, but every turn resulted in a dead end. and us even more tired, me giving mitch several sips of powerade. We eventually found them, lauged, talked, went hiking again. Girls went one way, I went another, but i had like 6 ppl following me who had nothing better to do. Including Ian. I tunred around, and dashed ahead. I guess they figured they could keep up with me, so didnt go very fast. i took a side path and who should i find but the girls. exelent hiding place. until ian come in, looking for a fight. i run, see other followers, run back. "CALEB!!" crud, ian, i run back, he catches me. we all head back.
Whew adventured over -- ya right! Evie Kiri and Laura went back on another hike. pretty much everone else stayed behind. I was bored so i did my usual habit of repeating my options. 1) sticking around with everone else, but there really wasnt too much of interest, and i didnt see ryan mitch of chris 2) go find the girls, but had no clue where they were, wasnt in the mood for another adventure, and they had specifically stated that i wouldnt want to go. At this point Ian interupted me, gave me a glare, and told me not to go looking for the girls cause they obviously wanted to be alone. um... ooookkkaaayy... Ryan mich and chris came marching in. so i follow them. "were doing a march for hat choice!" so there i am. marching for freedom of wearing crazy hats to crown. then we meet up with everone else, girls included, and play at the tree for like 45 min. people came and went off and on throughout, but it was fun. There was a pine cone war, which i didnt take sides on because it was either be against evie or be against ian, and i didnt know which one scares me more, so i was chronicler. There was an incedent during it that ive been asked by Evie not to speak of, but it had me suprised.
Then we went down to the hill. I ran down to greet mitch and chris, then the three of us went back to the pavilion. decided to hunt for the others and meet at the pond. i wen there, but saw the others across the lake. chased em down, made sure that some ppl there knew to tell mitch and chris where i was, and... missed the poeple i was chasing. im guessing i just didnt look at the observation deck when i passed it. went the rest of the way to realize we had to leave. Just before i went, me ol buddies mitch chris and ryan emerge from the woods once again, so at least im not totally without goodbyes. we leave, and im when we get back.

Next day, recital.
Not too much to report here. Evie went and saw it. In it was Rach Nate Seth Elysia hailee erin ian katie hannah abby and a partridge in a pear tree. There were more... iffy... dances than usual (most of Rachel's, one of Katie's and i think some more), but overall it was fun. there was one dance, nightmare, that used stobe lights, cool costumes and fun music. along with n, s, and i's mc hammer dance, it was one of the best of the night.

Next day: Graduation!
Ok even less to report. we went up on stage, got our pics taken. oh ya evie got her hair cut! not too short, looks great! Kiri's does too, dont know if i brought that up in a prev post. But i honestly didnt know evies hair was as dark as it is. well after the grad, we went downstairs and ate my moms coomkies, and ritz... i have an unhealthy additcion to those things. its creepy how amazing they are... said goodbyes, and right... i mean left.
