Day 2

Sorry, just Caleb this time.

I should be going to bed as i need to be up early tomero, but i wanted to talk about today while its still fresh in my mind.

I went to mcdonalds to get some breakfast.
We met and left to go to the capitol
We took a tour of the pentagon. they have cool bulletproof windows,
I got a flashlight thingy
We went to arlington cemetary. REAALLY akward for me. Ineeded to be quiet and reseptful, but thats a problem for me, as i cannot think that profoundly, try as i might. I can be quiet, but even that only lasts 20 min, glad to leave. dont like funerals or graveyards... too serious for me.
Went to the smithsonian. interesting, but not super. kiri actually took a lot of pics. many of me. one i want her to delete, but i guess thats kinda hypocrisy.
Ate at noodles and co. kept running out of things to talk about, so we just kept randomly talking about the homeschool ball. it was all we could think of to speak of. we need a life.
Came back and reviewed. we went over our plan and practiced out interviews. we should do okay, but the questions are gonna be tough. things were rough for the junior team... they didnt make it. hopefully we can do better.

Please pray.
-Caleb

Personally, i think it's gross that we stick rotting corpses in the ground and then make the place public. I mean, sure, I can understand the headstones, memories and stuff. No problem with that. But why not have just the headstones, and not some person's dead remains. Kinda hard to keep one's mind on memories when one is constantly thinking "im walking on a dead person."

well, there was no actual walking on them. the grounds were roped off. but then wouldn't you also have problems with every cemetary in the US?
